This poem may touch various hearts as many couples must not be together on the occasion of Karva-Chauth due to one or the other reasons.
But still those physical distances don’t bring distances in their hearts and love.

Karva-Chauth

Channa sohneya weh chamak aj rajjke
teri chamak cho'n chamakday chann mera
beshaq tanno(physically) mai nahi haan kol tere
aipar tere-yi hazoor hai mann mera

chakkachaund hai chaar-chufer aithe
nheri raat rushnaanwdi chaan-ni hai,
tere deed nu deede pye lochde ne
tere mukh nu lochdi chhaan-ni hai

tere pyar di bhukhi haan haaniyaan weh
hor bhukh na mainu sataaye koi
kaahnu tere didaar durlabh ho gaye
aina pyar nu kaahton azmaaye koi

karva chauth je roz vi aa jaave
taithon tann mann dhann vi waar devaa'n
bhukhe rehke je umar daraaz hundi
teri umar to’n ann vi vaar devaa'n

shiddat naal je rakheya wart hove
rabb partke phall wartaayu ikk din
nadar ohdi suwalli je ho jaave
chaayi'n chaayi'n oh rehmat barsaayu ikk din
